Please Save “School Dollars”
From August 31-November 29, 2009 all Sweetbay stores will issue “School Dollars” certificates at the register to customers who purchase selected products marked with a Support Schools tag. These school dollars will be issued in the form of a coupon that prints along with your register receipt. Collect these school dollars throughout the promotional time period and redeem them for cash towards your school.
Drop off school dollars at the collection box in the designated "Island School" in school slot at the front of the Sweetbay store in Palm Plaza located at 1951 S. McCall Road in Englewood or drop off at school by December 9th.
At the end of the promotion, the “School Dollars” will be redeemed for real dollars with a check issued to each school in February 2010. The top 10 registered schools that raise the most “School Dollars” will receive an additional $1,000 grant from Sweetbay.

The Island School DRINK POUCH BRIGADE
A new way to earn cash for our school – by collecting empty drink pouches!
We have teamed up with Terracycle.net to recycle empty drink pouches (CapriSun, Honest Kids & Kool-Aid). That is as an eco-friendly innovator, TerraCycle converts the used drink pouches into unique fashion bags, tote bags, pencil cases, and other items for kids and adults! Being Green and earning cash for our school is super easy – Save those Drink Pouches! Collection bin coming soon…..
